Nathaniel had just moved into the house opposite Saira’s when he knocked on her door with a simple request: to borrow her WiFi.

His career as a professional footballer and her role as Managing Director of several wellness businesses complemented each other beautifully. It felt aligned. Meant.

A Proposal Filled With Meaning

In December 2021, just before Christmas, Nathaniel recreated one of their earliest dates. During a trip to Paris, they had once visited the love lock bridge and wished they had brought a padlock to seal their story there.

So he brought the magic home to Birmingham, secretly planning the moment with their closest friends. When he proposed, Saira was completely and utterly blown away. It was thoughtful, nostalgic, and full of intention — just like their love.

Lilies, honouring Nathaniel’s grandmother so her presence could be felt.
Orchids, the first flowers they bought for their home.
White roses, Saira’s favourite — and the first flowers Nathaniel ever gave her — arranged in abundance.

One of the most moving moments came just before the ceremony, when Saira’s driver paused along the route so she could take in the vineyard, the guests, and the design from above. Seeing it all come together brought her to tears.
